Abbie insisted today on wearing her hair in a side ponytail, "like the girl in Napoleon Dynamite."
As she checked out my handiwork in the mirror, she said, "No other girl in my class has thought about doing this! I'm going to be the first."
Yes, I thought. I have no doubt that you will be the first... in kindergarten.
