"Unremarkable"

"Unremarkable." It's a beautiful word! We got the official report today from Abbie's MRI, and they've seen no increased tumor growth, and less enhancement. The report ended with a sentence that made me so happy I laughed out loud:

The remaining spinal cord appears unremarkable with no contrast
enhancement appreciated.

After all that Abbie has gone through in the last year and a half, it is a miracle to think that her poor little traumatised spine is now "unremarkable." Do you know what that is? It's remarkable!
